OBJECTIVE }
This project explored typographic forms in a new way. Before deciding on the final solution, I conducted a variety of type experiments using different materials and media. The inherent uncertainty of experiments can produce unexpected and varied results, which made this project fascinating.

APPROACH }
I chose Moonlight, which won the 2017 Oscar for Best Picture. I used typography to express the emotions of the characters and the main themes of the film. Inspired by the confusion and struggle of the protagonist growing up, which are endlessly magnified under the moonlight, I selected mirrored or reflective vinyl sheets and a projector as my medium. I used these tools to project different elements onto various surfaces, creating a more three-dimensional design solution.
